Book of laws

A book of laws is a compilation of different rules and regulations to follow. A book of law can hold specific information, and can obtain to a specific area as well. Many times states have a book of law that is only for that state, and can only be used within the frameworks of that states constitution. A states book of laws will state all laws, mandates, and precedents so that lawyers, students, judges, researchers, and ordinary people can look up legal information. Many times these books are found in libraries all across the country. They can be found in law libraries at universities, in communities, or even in judges and lawyers offices, regular public libraries, and now online. A book of law is expensive to obtain and tedious to read. Often times these reads are full of legal vocabulary that is not easily readable by everyone. Law libraries often host different series of books, and keep them organized in alphabetical order by the contents. With the recent surge in technology, attendance in libraries has decreased and the need for a hard copy version of a book has as well. Lately, book of laws can be found online in these databases for new and used books. Many sites are selling these books back from law students, or overstock. Often a book of law will be donated to a library or community to help people stay up on the law.

A book of law may pertain to both domestic issues as well as international issues. Domestic issues are those that deal with the nation that a person belongs to, refraining from interfering or conducting law with any other country. For example, an American would only be concerned with law pertaining to the United States only when researching domestic law. Domestic law books may highlight the necessary regulations on agriculture, politics, national security, economy, credit, etc… International law is law pertaining to all the countries in the world and the regulations placed on these nations as a whole in an effort to promote world peace and interaction. A book of laws pertaining to international law would only be appropriate to use when dealing with an international case. The purpose of an international book of law is to communicate the effective ways to govern for a nation privately, while publicly interacting with other nations in a significant way. A book of law server many purposes and can be used to ensure that ones right to life, liberty, and property is protected at all times. When a person or business feel that they have been done a disservice book of laws are effective in clearly stating what rights, if any are available. A book of laws can be the resource that is used to get a person of the hook in a murder trial, or to help another sue for malpractice. Each person is entitles to a certain number of rights that should be clearly stated and visible to them. If a person is going to be forced to live under rules of law, the Constitution, and constantly be governed, then they deserve to have clearly written information of what is required of them. These types of books are the most necessary because they keep the legal system honest and accountable.

Law Books

Law books are an important resource for law students, lawyers, judges, companies, and people as a whole. Law books hold all the information necessary to regulate law, and the implementation of it. Not only is a law book essential to the law student when conducting research and completing a law degree, but it is also very much a resource for lawyers that already practice law. Law books are also often referred to as “the Books” by everyday normal citizens. This can refer to the laws that are actually in place on various issues, to regulate a community. For example, the laws in New Jersey are one “the books” and visible on paper to those who desire to research them. In law everything is recorded and saved to set precedent for another issue. A precedent is a law or rule that is put into the law books and sets a standard for requirements in given case. Meaning that once a law is made regarding a particular issue it is then punishable because a precedent has been set the standard. If a new law was placed in a law book that it is mandatory that all individuals are only allowed one carry on item in the airplane, then that is the law, and everyone must follow it. Should anyone fail to do so, than they are punishable under the law because of that precedent.
Law books are often needed to conduct research on a given topic. Everyday lawyers use law books to compile a case. The use of the law book does not go out the window once law school is done. It is impossible for one person to know all the laws that are listed for a given state or nation. Additionally, law books vary based on topic, region, and level. Some law books demonstrate basic laws at the national level, and some illustrate those made particularly for a given state. One state may have a law stating that it is illegal to spit in public, no matter how ridiculous, a person must follow it when in the particular area. A law book serves as a guide on many complex issues, and may even be used by a judge or district attorney to conduct research as well. Law books can be found in public libraries, law schools, and law libraries. A law book serves as a resource to study off of when in law school. Many times these books have amendments in them, and are constantly changing. Since the law can change everyday it is vital that law books stay current, and the difference from state to state is noted. Also, a law book may be useful based on whether a case is being conducted at a national, state, or local level. A case that is being tried on a national level, like in a supreme court for example, cannot use law books for the state of New Jersey to persuade a case. The same thing goes for state cases, a case in New Jersey cannot use national law books, or books from Massachusetts to win a case, or conduct research in New Jersey. Each level is set with its own set of laws, hence giving each group different freedoms, and different law books.
